Bentley OpenRoads Designer introduces a new, comprehensive modeling environment for building-driven engineering to help accelerate project delivery of road networks, unifying design and construction processes from concept to completion. The application provides complete detailed design capabilities for surveying, drainage, subsurface utilities, and roadway design.

OpenRoads Designer redefines best practices for generating design and construction deliverables and ensures the exchange of data throughout the project delivery and asset lifecycle. Using OpenRoads Designer, you can:
– Contain the context data quickly from a variety of sources, such as point clouds, 3D reality meshes, terrain data, images, and geospatial information to bring real-world settings to your project.
– Achieve exponential modeling performance gains with the model-centric production of design deliverables.
– Enable users to share project information across teams, locations, and disciplines with precision and security.
– Use Catalog Services to manage and deliver functional components for consistent generative design throughout the engineering workgroup.
– Access Documentation Center to produce multi-discipline documentation for all work on assets across the project.
– Share realistic visualizations with the public and stakeholders to collect feedback, improve public engagements, and speed project approvals.
Operating System:
Windows 10 ( 64-bit )
– Windows 8 and 8.1 ( 64-bit )
– Windows 7 SP1 ( 64-bit )
Processor: Intel® or AMD® processor 1.0 GHz or greater. OpenRoads Designer is not supported by a CPU that does not support SSE2.
Memory: 8 GB minimum 16 GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, especially when working with larger models.
Hard Disk: 9 GB free disk space (which includes a 5.6 GB installation footprint for a complete installation)
Video:1024 MB of RAM RAM or higher is recommended. If there is insufficient video RAM or no graphics card supported by DirectX can be found, OpenRoads Designer is trying to use software emulation. For optimal performance, the graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using a 16-bit color depth setting, some inconsistencies will be noted.
Screen Resolution: 1600 x 1200 or higher
